Delete your Dayboo account

1. In the Dayboo app (parents)

• Open the app and tap the account icon at the top right.
• Tap “Delete my account”, then “Delete account”.

2. In the Dayboo Staff app

• Sign in with your own phone number (not with a PIN on a shared tablet).
• Open “More”, the last tab.
• Tap “Delete my account”, then “Delete account”.

3. What is deleted

• Every sign-in to the account, on every phone, and notifications to your phones.
• The phone number and email on the account; on a parent’s account, the name too.
• For staff: the PIN, and your role at the kindergarten ends that day.

4. What the kindergarten keeps

The kindergarten keeps its own records about children, families and staff: profiles, health information, photos, payments, consents and the history of what was done. The kindergarten is responsible for them; ask the kindergarten to change or remove them. Records a staff member made keep their name.

Our audit history notes that the account’s details changed, not the erased values; entries made earlier keep what they recorded, as the privacy policy explains. If you sign in again later with the same number, a new account is made, and the kindergarten’s records can give it access again.

5. Kindergarten owners

An owner’s account runs the kindergarten in Dayboo, so the app does not delete it. Contact us to close the kindergarten (we then return and delete its data under the data processing agreement) or to hand it over to another person.

6. Without the app

If you can’t open the app, email [email protected] or call +995 599 89 06 74 and tell us the account’s phone number. We check that the number is yours (we call or text it), then delete the account the same way the app does.
